Online Education at Fisher College

Online classes are a wonderful way for people like you with busy or unpredictable schedules to pursue the quality education you desire. You can apply to have credits earned at Fisher College Online transferred to another school, or you can have credits you've earned elsewhere transferred to Fisher. We run on a schedule of six 8-week terms, and you can log-on anytime day or night to access your course work. Our online classes are student-centered rather than teacher-centered. Your teacher is a "facilitator" and will assist you in learning the material required; explain details clearly in writing; provide you with information links, web materials and references; answer all email questions usually within 24 hours; correct all required work, papers, projects and quizzes as quickly as possible; and post your grade in your grade book.

Fisher College Online, distance education learning online, is the Internet-based "campus" of Fisher College, whose main campus is located in Boston, Massachusetts and which has been offering classes since 1903. In 1997, Fisher was among one of the first accredited colleges to begin offering courses online. Since then the college has expanded its online division, and it now offers certificates, associates and bachelors degrees completely online.
