Walden University - Online Ph.D. in Health Services - Community Health Promotion and Education

The Health Promotion and Education Specialization serves students interested in providing leadership in health promotion and education in settings such as:

-Communities

-Work sites
-Clinics
-Government agencies
-Not-for-profit organizations

The specialization prepares students to provide leadership in the planning and administration of health promotion and education degree programs, and leadership in conducting evaluative research on the effectiveness of those degree programs. The specialization combines KAM-based learning and electronically delivered, course-based learning in the foundational social and behavioral sciences, and electronically delivered, course-based learning in the advanced specialization courses. Both approaches together provide a comprehensive range of health promotion competencies.
