RN Refresher - Distance Education Online - College: University of Delaware
Description: The University of Delaware's RN Refresher distance education online course is designed to upgrade basic competence of registered nurses who have not been in active practice, who wish to reinstate their license and return to a clinical setting. The distance education online course is comprised of 84 hours of nursing theory and related activities, including exams. All coursework takes place using Internet and CD-ROM technology. Participants distance education online view lectures on the distance education online Internet or on CD-ROM, complete exams and assignments, and communicate with faculty and classmates using the course Web site and e-mail. Successful completion of this distance education online course also requires 80 hours of supervised clinical practice, to take place in a clinical setting in the participant's state of licensure. Participants distance education online locate a clinical setting in which to complete their practice hours, subject to approval by the University of Delaware coordinator.
