To earn an online degree MBA in general business studies, students must complete 12 courses, including the nine-course MBA core curriculum and three elective courses (36 credits total). 2) Ellis MBA degree online — with Specialization. This option enables students to tailor their studies to specific areas of interest or professional development. Beyond the 36 credits needed for an MBA in general business studies, students may elect to take three additional elective courses in order to earn an online degree MBA with a specialization (45 credits total). For both distance learning MBA degree online program options, students complete nine core courses that explore fundamental business concepts essential for every manager.
